SA Alaa Sashay became an excellent candidate
for breeding to Al Adeed Al Shaqab. The
result was Amal Al Badia. Laurie describes
her as “an animated and elegant 2008 grey
mare with a high set neck of very good length.
She is well balanced with excellent legs and
feet, and good motion. She shows promise
as a competitive future show mare with her
dynamic presence and type.” Amal Al Badia
won 2009 U.S. Egyptian Event Top Ten
Yearling Fillies (3rd). While her mother SA
Alaa Sashay is currently out on lease, Amal
Al Badia will represent her in the breeding
program.
