Ramses Effendi was bred by Martin Loeber’s Plum Grove Farm. In the late 1980’s, Mr. Loeber bred many of his best *Ramses Fayek daughters to the Canadian & US National Top Ten Stallion Prince Ibn Shaikh, including the striking, large-eyed Ramses Safina, dam of Ramses Effendi. Ramses Effendi has produced several excellent fillies, one of which was recently exported to Israel. After owning Effendi’s daughter SA Alaa Sashay ( by Ali Zaar ) for three years, and seeing many of the tail female descendents of the *Ramses Sadaka / Ramses Safina / Ramses Effendi dam line, we decided that this particular dam line was one we wanted to work with further. In 2008, we purchased Ramses Effendi and her 2008 filly by Al Adeed Al Shaqab from Lyday Farms, in partnership with Donna Heartz of Nova Scotia, Canada.

Ramses Effendi is a substancial mare with an incredible disposition. She has small ears, notably wide space between the jowls, prominant eyes, and excellent legs and feet. Effendi has a well shaped nicely set-on neck, a clean throatlatch, elegant movement, and straight tail carriage.
